Following a bout of illness, I returned on Friday and attended Stratford DC’s Housing Advisory Panel and presented a Progress Report on Rural Housing Enabling Activity.
I updated Ilmington Parish Council on the report to be considered by Warwickshire CC Cabinet about the release of land for an affordable housing scheme.

I discussed Wootton Wawen Parish Council’s progress with its Parish Plan.
This is expected to be adopted in the near future and the Action Plan is expected to include further work on affordable housing.
I met Great Alne Parish Council to discuss undertaking a Housing Needs Survey.
I spoke to the Sambourne Trust about the possibility of undertaking a Housing Needs Survey in Sambourne with the support of the Parish Council.
I spoke to a Napton resident about the proposed affordable housing scheme in Priors Marston Road.

I advised Little Compton Parish Council of comments on potential development sites from Stratford DC Planners and Warwickshire CC Highways and offered to attend a Parish Council meeting to discuss the comments in more detail and the next steps.
I contacted Warwickshire CC to discuss the Cabinet Report about the possible release of its land for an affordable housing scheme in Ilmington.
I was contacted by the Parish Clerk for Preston on Stour Parish Council about the possibility of undertaking a Housing Needs Survey.

I finalised and issued a Report for Napton Parish Council on the Public Consultation Event held on 13 December 2009 about a proposed affordable housing scheme in Priors Marston Road.
I read the Communities and Local Government consultation on proposals to incentivise landowners to bring forward additional land for rural affordable housing.

I prepared presentations to be given in the New Year to Gaydon Parish Council, Great Alne Parish Council and Tanworth in Arden Parish Council.

I advised Ratley & Upton Parish Council of a suitable Rural Exception Site on which to meet the identified need for affordable housing for local people.

Following a week’s holiday, I met representatives of Fenny Compton Parish Council to discuss the proposed drainage strategy for an affordable housing development.
I forwarded information to Stratford DC Planners about the lack of suitable brownfield sites in Fenny Compton.
I received confirmation from Stratford DC Planners that the proposed affordable housing scheme in Long Itchington is now ready for public consultation.
I requested suitable dates for a Public Consultation Event from the Parish Council.

I advised Harbury and Snitterfield residents of the process for allocating affordable housing.
I finalised Burton Dassett Parish Council’s covering letter for a Housing Needs Survey in the New Year.
I provided Stratford DC officers with information from the Stockton Housing Needs Survey in preparation for the Planning Committee meeting.
I attended Stratford DC Planning Committee for the planning applications on affordable housing schemes in Claverdon and Stockton.
Both schemes were approved.

I contacted Great Wolford Parish Council to introduce myself and offer to undertake a Housing Need Survey.
I arranged to meet Ullenhall Parish Council to discuss undertaking a Housing Needs Survey.
I attended a meeting of Stratford DC Planning and Housing officers, Jephson Housing Association, and the Chair & Vice Chair of Welford on Avon Parish Council to discuss detailed proposals for affordable housing schemes.

I spoke to the agent for the owner of a potential development to include affordable housing in Ettington.
I spoke to the agent for the owner of a potential development site for local market housing in Harbury.
I replied to Dorsington Parish Council with answers to a series of questions on tenure, local connection, location of affordable housing schemes and experiences in other villages.
I met the Chairman of the Parish Council to discuss progress on possible affordable housing schemes in Welford-on-Avon.
