Community Projects

Among the many successful projects we have helped launch are:

Flora and fauna surveys carried out with the help of the County Ecologist. Oldberrow village's survey revealed a mass of old flower meadow plants in their churchyard.

Dry stone walling at Warmington (see illustration) with the aid of the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers, who can bring in training and extra muscle to help parish councils undertake practical conservation tasks such as this.

Cress Hill environmental reserve created by Welford on Avon Parish Council. It is now working on a very ambitious project at the other end of the Parish, Binton Bridges, where it is tidying up the land around the Avon Bridge and managing the riverside for nature conservation etc.

Millennium Green at Ladbroke village, offers a new green space for the villagers with a place for the children, the elderly and the wildlife to coexist.

Please join our Register of Supporters to add your support to our ongoing work to protect and enhance the quality of rural life and improve rural communities for all who live and work there.
