Does your hall want to show off it's achievements?

The Glass House are working with the Asset Transfer Unit to create a design guide for groups involved in refurbishment and conversion. The idea is to visit 10 community buildings around the country which have been through the process and to carry out a workshop there with those who were involved. This workshop will explore the barriers and problems the group experienced when carrying out refurbishment and how they overcame them. An architect and photographer will come along to each workshop and once finished we aim to create a design guide which will showcase good examples and best practice of refurbishment. This will be organised under themes such as connectivity, access, security etc.

They are short on rural examples and want to know if we have any fantastic and inspiring examples of refurbished or converted community buildings and committees who might be willing to host a workshop during April?  Please contact Deborah Clarke at ACRE for further information or to offer your Community Building as an example.  d.clarke@acre.org.uk or 01285 653477
