Wood Park FarmAnother session with John and Sue Collins and Mary Willis. We met at the Tithe Barn in Polesworth with volunteer, Les Holmes, and tried out some group interviewing with a few different microphones. John, Sue and Mary generated some wonderful conversation about the realities of farm life with all its highs and lows, which I recorded on video.

A few weeks earlier, I copied this photo of John's Aunt Nora at Wood Park Farm, Polesworth. She's wearing a Tamworth High School uniform.

The following day Les and I met Dr John Bland at Berkswell and recorded a lively interview about his GP's practice in North Warwickshire. During the interview, at 4 pm, the grandfather clock chimed eleven times. I'll have to edit that out.

Les and I were both awestruck by the extensive collection of local history images that Dr Bland has collected; a wonderfully valuable resource.
