George Woodfield (photo: Windows on Warwickshire)My Farming Life is our Heritage Lottery Funded living history project about farming in North Warwickshire.
We are recording memories from people who have been involved in agriculture in the North of the county, and will create a collection of oral history interviews. We are also collecting photographs and documents that record the experiences of farming families and the changes in their day-to-day lives.
One of the interviews was with Roger Knowles.
In August we attended the Whitacres & Shustoke Horticultural Show, Fillongley Show and Canwell Show to find out more about these treasured country events. If you have any photos taken at any of these Shows in years gone by, please let us know.
More details can be found on our website www.myfarminglife.org
We are also putting together a short compilation of your memories of the Royal Show. If you have any photographs from your own visits, we should like to see them. Get in touch with Fiona Henderson the Project Manager/Researcher if you have any photos or if you would like to get involved with the project.
