Transport

A lack of adequate public transport has added to the problems faced by many rural communities as villages services have declined in recent years.

WRCC manages the Back & 4th Transport Project in South Warwickshire.

Brokerage Schemes do not follow set routes, but cover a particular area and collect passengers and groups who have pre-booked. The service can accommodate the disabled and those in wheelchairs.

The Health Transport Service, a volunteer transport service, helps people over the age of 65, living in the Warwick District area who are able to walk unaided and who need transport to health-related appointments.  This can include appointments at hospitals, GP surgeries, chiropodist and dentists.

CSWP operate two schemes that help people to access employment and training opportunities: Wheels to Work and Workwise.
