Hallmark is a quality standard recognizing excellence in village halls and other similar community buildings, and is part of a national programme to help management committees identify the best way of operating in line with recognized standards.
We currently have a small team of volunteer ‘visitors’ who act as reviewers and assess whether a hall has achieved the relevant mark but are looking to expand this team. The only requirement is that the volunteer has served on a management committee. Volunteers commit as much or as little time as suits, with an average of approx two hours each couple of months. Mileage expenses are paid.
